how to protect your files

Now a days file security is very important for hiding personal information.Windows has a file hiding option but it is not very much effective for advanced user.If any one is skilled in computer operating he/she can easily figure out that.Which is very risky for keeping personal data safe.But winrar which is  mainly a compression software very very much effective in this regard.It has a very strong protection unit.t can encrypt data very strongly.but most people does not know that usage of this software.Many people realize that winrar is only a file compression software.Which is totally wrong.You can easily secure your data by this software.Winrar has a nice friendly interface with charming look.But you have to do some steps to protect your file or folder.Now i shall tell you how to do it....

    * Install winrar.
    * Then right click to your mouse in the selected folder.
    * Then you will see 'add to archive' option.
    * Then go to advanced.
    * Then click set password.
    * You must click 'encrypt file names'.
    * Then set password.
    * Then ok.
    * Then you will see a password protected compressed           folder.
    * Delete the original folder.
    * Done..
